The 10Web AI Website Builder can generate WordPress websites from the ground up or recreate any existing website in WordPress using original code. You can manage the pages of your created or recreated websites in the 10Web dashboard or you can manage them from the WordPress admin panel.
Important:
For the page to be visible in the WordPress admin panel, please make sure that in the 10Web dashboard, in the AI Builder section, the page has the status of published.
Managing AI Builder pages in the 10Web dashboard
The AI Builder Pages section in the dashboard houses all of the pages of your website. Any newly created/generated or converted/recreated pages are added to the list in the Pages section.
Note:
If the WooCommerce plugin is activated, the mandatory WooCommerce pages Cart, Checkout, My account, Refund and Returns Policy and Shop will be added to the list in the Pages tab.
The pages are further divided into categories belonging to specific parts of the structure of your website.
At the top of the page you will see the following tabs:
Pages - Contains all the pages in your website
Header - Contains the headers of your website
Footer - Contains the footers of your website
Single - Contains the single pages such as Post single and 404 pages of your website
Archive - Contains the archive pages of your website
Slides - If a slider was used, each slide will be saved in this tab as a single template
The list is also divided into columns.
Title - This is the title you have assigned to the page when creating or recreating it. If there is a house icon in front of the title, then that page is your frontpage.
Link - This is the URL of the page.
Last Modified - Shows the date of when the page was last modified.
Status - The page can be published or a draft. This column shows the status of the page. To publish a page, click on the drop down menu of the page under the Status column and choose Publish.
Note:
Only a published page can be set as a Frontpage.
Edit - Click on the icon to start editing the page in the 10Web builder.
Three dots - To set a page as a Frontpage, click on the three dots located at the end of the line and choose Set Frontpage. To remove a page from your website and the list, choose Remove.
Note:
If you would like to edit the entire website with the 10Web Builder, click on Edit Website, located at the top right of the page.
How to change the homepage of a site in WordPress
The pages that are created when you create/generate or convert/recreate a website with the AI Builder are listed in the pages tab of the AI Builder section in the 10Web dashboard. You can edit them from the 10Web dashboard, or from the WordPress admin panel.
To change the homepage of your website from the WordPress admin panel:
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel
- Hover on Settings then click Reading
- Click on the dropdown menu next to Homepage
- Select the page you want to set as your homepage
- Click Save Changes
How to hide AI Website Builder pages in WordPress
When generating a brand new website or recreating pages with the AI Website Builder, you may have some pages that are not for the general public , pages you keep for testing, or pages that are not completed yet, etc. Hiding these pages will hide them from being found by the search engines.
To hide pages in WP:
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel
- Click on Pages
- Click on the page you want to hide
- To the right of the page, click on the Summary dropdown
- Next to Visibility, click on Public
- From the pop up, choose Private
- Click OK to make the page private and hide it
