How to Add Tracking Codes to the Header of Your Website

Here's a simple step-by-step guide for adding tracking codes to your website's header. 

Before you begin

Ensure you have the tracking codes from your chosen services like Facebook Pixel or ClickMagick. You'll also need administrative access to your WordPress website.

Install and activate the Insert Headers and Footers plugin

1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to the Plugins section
2. Click on Add New Plugin
3. In the search bar, type Insert Headers and Footers by WPBeginner
4. Find the plugin from the search results and click on Install Now
5. Once installed, click on Activate

Adding tracking codes

Now that the plugin is active, you can insert your tracking codes:

1. Navigate to Settings
2. Select Insert Headers and Footers
3. In the Scripts in Header box, paste your tracking code
4. Click on Save to apply the changes.

Your tracking codes for services like Facebook Pixel and ClickMagick are now added to your site's header. As a result, these tools will now start tracking and analyzing the performance of your web pages.
