The newly added Overview page serves as a central hub for e-commerce analytics. It provides key insights into store performance, offering consolidated data like monthly revenue, order counts, and other essential metrics.
The Ecommerce Overview section offers a concise yet insightful snapshot of your financial performance. You gain access to several key data points, as outlined below:
Date range
You can specify the timeframe for the report you wish to view. Upon opening the Date Range Picker, there are various popular presets for quick selection, including options like Today, Yesterday & Today, Last 7 Days, and more.
If you prefer a custom date range, a calendar option is available for selection. Additionally, you can choose which date range to compare against, opting for either the same range from the Prior Year or the Prior Period.
Performance data
Total Sales: This figure represents Gross Sales minus Returns and Coupons, but inclusive of Taxes and Shipping costs. Gross Sales is calculated as the sale price of products multiplied by the quantity ordered and excludes refunds, coupons, taxes, or shipping fees.
Net Sales: Calculated as Gross Sales minus Returns and Coupons, this metric provides insight into the actual revenue generated by sales.
Total Tax: This includes both Order Tax and Shipping Tax.
Variations Sold: Represents the total quantity of all sold product variations.
Orders: Indicates the number of new orders placed within the selected date range.
Products Sold: Reflects the total number of items sold during the specified timeframe.
With these essential metrics, you can better understand your ecommerce performance at a glance, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.

On the Overview page, you'll find helpful charts that display the Net Sales and the number of Orders from the previous year compared to the current year.
