The border tool in 10Web Builder allows you to add visual borders around elements, making them stand out and differentiating them from other elements on your site. You can choose from various border types, set the border width, and color, and adjust the border radius to round the corners.
Adding and customizing borders
- Select a border type: Most elements don't have visible borders by default. Use the Border Type option to add one. The available border types are:
Solid: A single continuous line around the element.
Double: Two parallel solid lines around the element.
Dotted: A line of small dots around the element.
Dashed: A line of short dashes around the element.
Groove: A border that looks like a picture frame. - Set border width: Use the Width counter to specify how thick you want the border to be.
- Choose a border color: Select a color using the color picker or use a global color from your site's palette.
Adjusting border radius
The Border Radius tool lets you round the corners of the element, altering its shape for a smoother look. You can do this using:
- Counter control: Adjust each corner individually using the four counters. Measurements can be in percentages, pixels, or other units depending on the element.
By following these steps, you can effectively use borders to enhance the design and visual appeal of your website elements.
