Good site navigation is key to great website design. Clear, organized menus make it easy for visitors to move around your site, boosting engagement and conversion rates.
10Web makes creating and managing menus quick and easy. The Navigation tab in the 10Web Dashboard lets you set up and organize menus without complicated settings.

How it works
In WordPress, navigation menus are typically stored and customized from the Appearance > Menus section of your WordPress Admin dashboard. Here, you can create menus with links to pages, categories, blog posts, custom URLs etc.
10Web Dashboard fetches this information, displaying it in a simplified and visually appealing way within the Navigation tab. This allows you to manage your menus without needing to access the WordPress Admin interface.
Note:
If you used AI to create your site, navigation menus for the Header and Footer are generated automatically. Otherwise, you must create the menus manually in WordPress for them to appear in the 10Web Dashboard.
Editing menus from the Navigation tab
To edit menus, follow these steps:
- Go to the Navigation tab in your 10Web Dashboard.
- Click on the menu you want to modify.
- In the editing view, you can:
- Change the Menu name.
- Drag and drop items to rearrange the order.
- Add new items by clicking Add item, which opens a sidebar where you can choose from options such as Pages, Galleries, Product categories, or Custom links.
- Click on any existing menu item to edit its Navigation label or remove the item.
- Once you’ve made your changes, click Save to update the menu, or Discard to undo changes. Both options are located in the top-right corner of the page.
Note:
To remove a menu, click on the three dots next to the menu name and select Remove Menu.
Adding a navigation menu to the site’s front-end
Once your menu is created or edited, you’ll need to publish it on the site’s front end. If you are using the 10Web Builder, this can be done by adding the Nav Menu widget to your page and selecting the appropriate menu in its settings.
For more information on how to use the Nav Menu widget, refer to the dedicated article on adding and configuring the widget.
Important:
Always review the menus after publishing to ensure they function as expected on both desktop and mobile versions of your site.
