Introduction to Co-Pilot editor
The new AI Co-Pilot lets you edit pages, widgets, and sections via chat, using simple commands per session.
Who is this available for?
The Co-Pilot editor is available to all platform plan users of the 10Web AI Builder. It is automatically enabled for sites generated after November 2024. For sites created before this date, you can activate it by navigating to Elementor > Settings > Features and enabling 10Web AI Co-Pilot.
Why are we making this change?
This change supports our mission to simplify and enhance the website-building process. While our AI website builder streamlines creation, we want to make the editing experience just as effortless.
The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive but still requires some learning. With this update, we aim to empower users with no technical skills to take full control of their website customizations by simply describing their needs in plain language.
We’re excited to use AI to make website editing as natural and enjoyable as having a conversation, giving everyone the confidence to create and personalize their sites with ease.
How to use it?
To access AI Co-Pilot:
- Go to 10Web Dashboard and click the Manage button under the site you want to edit.
- Navigate to the AI Builder menu and click the Edit button next to the page you want to work on.
- You will be redirected to the Editor interface. Locate 10Web AI Co-Pilot icon in the bottom-right corner and click on it to open the Co-Pilot chat.
- Start asking questions or request edits by typing your instructions into the chat text field.
- To make changes to a specific widget:
- Click on the widget you want to modify.
- A Selected element prompt will appear in the Co-Pilot chat window.
- Provide your instructions, and the Co-Pilot will adjust the element for you.
Note:
If you are unsatisfied with the changes, you can ask Co-Pilot to undo them. Alternatively, you can manually revert the edits using the Undo button located on the top ribbon of the Editor interface.
What to expect next?
The current version of Co-pilot focuses on widget and section-level editing, but we’re excited to expand its capabilities to include page and even full website-level editing. Our roadmap for website editing is ambitious, and we can’t wait to bring this vision to life, unlocking its full potential.
