If you want to stop using the 10Web Cloudflare Enterprise CDN service on your website, you need to undo certain DNS configurations before disabling the Cloudflare Enterprise integration from the dashboard. This guide covers step-by-step instructions based on where your domain’s nameservers are managed—either with an external registrar or directly at 10Web.
Note:
Cloudflare Enterprise CDN works by using proxy IPs and verification records. Removing them and adding your Server IP will restore the original, not-proxied hosting setup.
Case 1: Domain nameservers are not managed by 10Web
- Log in to your 10Web account from my.10web.io.
- Click Manage on the desired website.
- In the left sidebar, navigate to Cloudflare CDN.
- Locate your Original Server IP on the 10Web Dashboard under Settings of Cloudflare CDN.
- Access your DNS registrar account.
- Replace your A record IPs starting with 104 (CDN proxy IPs) with your original server IP.
- Delete the following CDN-related DNS records:
CNAME record named _acme_challenge
TXT record named _cf-custom-hostname - Click Disable under Cloudflare CDN → Settings:
Important:
Failing to restore your original IP address before removing the CDN proxy records or disabling CDN from 10Web Dashboard can lead to website downtime.
Case 2: Domain nameservers are managed by 10Web
- Log in to your 10Web account from my.10web.io.
- Click Manage on the desired website.
- In the left sidebar, navigate to Website Booster → Cloudflare CDN.
- Go to the Settings tab and click Disable Cloudflare Enterprise.
Note:
When your DNS is managed by 10Web, the A record IP will automatically revert to your original server IP after disabling the Cloudflare Enterprise CDN.
