The 10Web Security Service provides layers of protection at your fingertips. Keep your websites secure by scanning for vulnerabilities, suspicious file changes, and SQL injections and receive comprehensive information about all potential issues and risks.
To enable and use the service, log into your 10Web dashboard and click Manage on the website you would like to enable the service for.
To the left of the dashboard, click on Security, then Enable Now to add the service to your WP website.
Next, scan your website by clicking on Run Scan. If the scan detects anything suspiciou, it will be displayed under the Issues or Vulnerabilities tabs.
At the top of the Security page, you will find four tabs. A fifth tab, vulnerabilities, will appear if vulnerabilities have been detected.
Issues
- Provides you with a list of outdated or modified files from WP core, plugins, and themes.
- Detects missing, modified, and added files.
Note: If you have added or modified files on your website, and you are sure that there are no potential security risks, you can click on the Ignore button to remove the issue from this list. These items will appear under the Ignored Issues tab and you can restore them anytime.
Ignored Issues
- Stores issues that you have marked as Ignored.
Vulnerabilities
Detects and reports files with vulnerabilities, such as:
- SQL injection risk
- Cross-site request forgery
- Cross-site scripting and more
Additionally, the scan provides you with references regarding each problem and identifies the type of vulnerability.
Settings
Configure the settings best fitted for your site to scan for:
- WordPress Vulnerabilities
- Plugin vulnerabilities & changes
- Core file vulnerabilities & changes
- Theme file changes
Scheduling
Schedule a security scan to run automatically on a:
- Monthly basis
- Weekly basis
- Daily basis
