Event Calendar allows exporting and importing of events, categories, organizers and more. Get the Export/Import Add-on and export data you need in CSV format, make edits and import to another calendar in minutes.
Attention: Add-ons are supported by Event Calendar Premium version.
The following data of the Event Calendar can be exported and imported: Events, Categories, Venues, Organizers and Tags. The exported/imported data will be in CSV format, which can be further edited, modified and imported.
Go to Calendars>Import/Export. Using the drop-down select the data type you want to export and press Export button. You will get a CSV file. Different data types will be in separate tabs in CSV file.
Go to Calendars>Import/Export. Using the drop-down select the data types you want to import. Select the CSV file using “Choose file” button and press “Import” button. If you want to import different data types in separate files, make sure to import Events file in the end. This is required for keeping the logical structure of the different data types. Please export the data in advance to importing to make sure that the imported file corresponds to the Event Calendar formats.
Custom Fields Add-On for Event Calendar WD will enable you to have more fields for more detailed and structured content: you can use this add-on and create additional fields for each event, venue and organizer.

Do you want to provide more details about your events, event organizers or venues going beyond our standard form? With Custom Fields Add-On you can add new fields to these sections and display additional information prominently. For example, for organizers, you may want to have custom fields to add website, telephone number, email, etc.
Creating Additional Fields
Now while entering events, organizers and venues sections you’ll see an option to add additional fields by just giving a name and value to each field. To add new field please just click on + (plus) button.
If you want to apply the same parameters (fields) to all your events, organizers or venues, please enter Calendar > Settings > Custom Fields. Here you can add the fields for each section and all your events, organizers or venues will have these fields. This way while creating an event, organizer or venue you’ll already have the custom fields ready.
Export to GCal/ICal/Outlook
One of the strongest features of Event Calendar WD is the Export to GCal/ICal/Outlook Add-on, which enables your users to export the events to their Google Calendar, iCalendar or Outlook in CSV and ICS formats.

If you have created a lot of events in your website with Event Calendar WD and you want to allow your users to export the events to their Google Calendar or iCalendar then this add-on is designed for you.
Export add-on allows users to export both single and whole month events. The data is exported in CSV and ICS formats. CSV file can be easily imported in Google Calendar. ICS file can be imported in iCalendar, Outlook Calendar, Mozilla Lightning and other online calendars that use ICS format.
You can configure add-on settings entering Calendar > Settings > Export. Here you’ll see 5 main options which you can enable or disable.
Display Export CSV link in Calendar page: Enabling this option you choose to show the Export CSV link under the calendar in the front-end. Users can click on the link and export calendar in CSV format.
Display Export ICS link in Calendar page: Enabling this option you choose to show the Export ICS link under the calendar in the front-end. Users can click on the link and export calendar in ICS format.
Display Add to GCal link in event page: Enabling this option you choose to show the Add to GCal link under the event description page in the front-end. Clicking on it users add the single event to their Google Calendar.
Display Export ICS link in event page: Enabling this option you choose to show the Export ICS link under the event description page in the front-end. Clicking on it users can export the single event in ICS format.
Export links title in Calendar page: This option allows you to write custom text that will appear as a title above the export links.
You can display any of your calendars on any other website using the simple embed code. All you need is to get the Embed Add-on for the WordPress Event Calendar WD copy the code and add it to any page or post you need.

Have you created a calendar and want to display it on another website or more websites? Do you want to skip recreation of all events and calendars? Then this simple ECWD Embed add-on is just for you. All you need is to configure embed settings, copy the code and add it into the content (text mode) of the page or post. The calendar will be successfully added on front end of the website.
The changes made on original calendar will be visible on embedded calendar dynamically, thus there will be no need of further editing the code. The embedded code can be used for unlimited number of websites; you can create the calendar once and use it for all relevant websites.
After installation of the plugin, a new section called Calendar Embed Settings will be added below Calendar Settings. The following options will be added:
Width. Set the width of the embedded calendar in pixels.
Height. Set the height of the embedded calendar in pixels.
Scrolling. Choose whether to add scrollbar next to the calendar or not. In case of Auto the scrollbar will be added only if the content area is small and calendar is not fully displayed. If On scrollbar will be visible regardless of calendar dimensions.
Calendar Type. Choose whether to display full or mini calendars.
Embed Code. This option will automatically generate the code based on selected options. You can copy and paste it to the page/post you want to add calendar to. Note that code should be pasted in post/page in Text mode (will not work if added in Visual mode).
