How to convert a website to WordPress with AI

The AI Builder is a comprehensive tool that uses generative and AI technologies for automatically recreating any web page on WordPress without copying the original code. You can recreate as many pages as you like if you are a paid user or up to 10 pages for free users. The AI Builder is the central part of website creation in the 10Web dashboard. Once a new WordPress install has been made, you will have three ways of creating/converting your website pages. You can recreate a page using AI, add a premade page, or add a blank page.

Get started for free

To get started with using the AI Builder for free:

1. Go to 10Web.io
2. Hover on the Product tab and click on AI Builder
3. Fill in the necessary information to create a free account
4. In the What do you want to do page, choose Convert a website to WordPress with AI
5. Enter the URL of the page you want to recreate with the AI Builder
6. Click Proceed to start recreation
7. Click Preview & Edit Your Website once recreation has completed

To the left of the screen you will see a preview of the recreated page. To the right of the screen, you will see the global style settings that AI has detected from the page. Here you can customize the button and text colors, choose the font and choose the header and footer placement. Each time you make a change in the style settings, you will see the changes real time on the preview portion of your screen.

From the left of the screen:

1. Set the header and footer placement
2. Set the primary color of your website by clicking on the color swatch
3. Set the font for the entire website
4. Set the color of your font for the entire website
5. Click Save & Proceed

You will be redirected to the 10Web dashboard continue building, editing, and customizing your page. 

Here you can recreate any page you want, add a premade page, or add a blank page to your website by clicking the Add New Page button. You can also generate a brand new website by clicking the Generate button. 

Using the AI Builder with a paid plan

If you are subscribed to one of our paid plans, you can recreate/create an unlimited number of pages using the AI Builder. If you have existing websites, you can access each page of your website by going to the AI Builder page. Here, you can manage your pages by publishing them or making published pages into drafts, setting your frontpage, adding and removing pages, and editing them in the 10Web Builder.

Creating a website with the AI Builder  

To create a brand new website using the AI Builder:

1. Log into your 10Web Dashboard 
2. Click on Create a Website
3. Choose from single website, multisite, or clone
4. Fill in a site title
5. Choose a datacenter closest to your audience location
6. Fill in a subdomain or
7. Fill in a domain if you have one and want to use it
8. Set an admin user name
9. Generate a strong password

   Important:

   Please make sure all passwords are strong and kept in a safe place. 

10. Click Create

After the completion of the installation, you will be redirected to the 10Web dashboard. 

Recreating a page with the AI Builder

1. Log into your 10Web Dashboard 
2. Click on your website
3. Click on AI Builder
4. Click on plus button located next to the search field

   Note:

   If this is your first page, you will automatically be directed to provide a title and a URL to start recreation. 

5. Click on AI Recreation
6. Enter a Title for the page 
7. Copy the complete URL (e.g. https://10web.io/) of the page you want to recreate
8. Paste the URL in the corresponding field
9. Click Recreate

Recreation of the page will start automatically. Once the page has been recreated, a popup will appear. Click on View and Edit to start editing with the 10Web Builder.

Adding a premade page to your website

To add one of our pre designed pages to your website:

1. Log into your 10Web Dashboard 
2. Click on your website
3. Click on AI Builder
4. Click on the plus icon
5. From the list, choose Pre-Made Pages
6. Choose a category then click on the plus icon to add or the eye icon to view the page
7. Click on Add Page to add it to your website pages
8. Click on Preview and Edit to start editing with the 10Web Builder

Adding a blank page

If you want to build your page from scratch, you can add a blank page to your website. 

1. Log into your 10Web Dashboard 
2. Click on your website
3. Click on AI Builder
4. Click on the plus icon
5. From the list, choose Blank Page
6. Add a Title and click Add Page
7. Click on the Edit button to start building with the 10Web Builder

AI Builder pages

The Builder page houses all of the pages of your website. Any newly created or recreated pages are added to the list. 

Note:
If the WooCommerce plugin is activated, the mandatory WooCommerce pages Cart, Checkout, My account, Refund and Returns Policy and Shop will be added to the list in the Pages tab. 

The pages are divided into categories belonging to a specific part of the structure of your website. For example, at the top of the page you will see the tabs: 

Pages - Contains all the pages in your website

Header - Contains the headers of your website

Footer - Contains the footers of your website

Single - Contains the single pages such as Post single and 404 pages of your website

Archive - Contains the archive pages of your website

Slides - If a slider was used, each slide will be saved in this tab as a single template

 

The list is also divided into columns. 

Title - This is the tite you have assigned to the page when creating or recreating it. If there is a house icon in front of the title, then that page is your frontpage. 

Link - This is the URL of the page. 

Last Modified - Shows the date of when the page was last modified. 

Status - The page can be published or a draft. This column shows the status of the page. 

• To publish a page, click on the drop down menu of the page under the Status column and choose Publish.

Edit - Contains the edit icon. 

• Click on the icon to start editing the page in the 10Web builder. 

Three dots - clicking on the dots will allow you to remove a page or set it as the frontpage. 

• To set a page as a Frontpage, click on the three dots located at the end of the line and choose Set Frontpage.
• To remove a page from your website and the list, click on the three dots at the end of the line and choose Remove.
