Custom Fields Add-On for Event Calendar WD will enable you to have more fields for more detailed and structured content: you can use this add-on and create additional fields for each event, venue and organizer.
Attention: Custom Fields Add-On requires Event Calendar WD Pro version 5.0.24 and higher: if you are using an older version, please update your plugin.
Do you want to provide more details about your events, event organizers or venues going beyond our standard form? With Custom Fields Add-On you can add new fields to these sections and display additional information prominently. For example, for organizers, you may want to have custom fields to add website, telephone number, email, etc.
Creating Additional Fields
Now while entering events, organizers and venues sections you’ll see an option to add additional fields by just giving a name and value to each field. To add new field please just click on + (plus) button.
If you want to apply the same parameters (fields) to all your events, organizers or venues, please enter Calendar > Settings > Custom Fields. Here you can add the fields for each section and all your events, organizers or venues will have these fields. This way while creating an event, organizer or venue you’ll already have the custom fields ready.
