Text Editor Widget

The Text Editor Widget simplifies content creation with the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor, letting you craft headings, paragraphs, lists, and embed images or videos. It also offers advanced styling options like font adjustments and alignment for visually appealing text.

Adding Text Editor widget

  1. Add the Text Editor widget by finding it on the widgets panel and dragging it to the page canvas.
  2. Click on the added widget and customize the settings available for it from the left-hand menu.

Content tab

  • Text Editor: Enter or paste your content. You can include text, images, or WordPress shortcodes. There’s also an option to switch between visual and bare HTML-based text editing mode

    Note:

     You can also edit or generate texts with AI by clicking the Write with AI button.

  • Drop Cap (Optional): This feature allows the first letter to appear larger and styled separately from the rest of the text.
  • Columns: Arrange your text into a set number of columns.
  • Columns Gap: Adjust the spacing between columns. Note that this option is not available if there’s only one column.

Style tab

  • Alignment: Set the position of your text—left, center, right, or justified.
  • Text Color: Choose a specific color for your text.
  • Typography: Customize the font style and weight of your text. For more details, refer to the Typography section.
  • Text Shadow: Add shadows to enhance text appearance. Learn more about shadow styling here.
  • Drop Cap: Only when Drop Cap option is enabled in the content tab, additional styling options include:
  • View: Choose between Default, Stacked, or Framed styles.
  • Primary Color: Set the color for the drop cap.
  • Text Shadow: Add shadow effects to the drop cap.
  • Space: Define the distance between the drop cap and the main text.
  • Border Radius: Adjust corner roundness for Stacked or Framed views.
  • Typography: Customize the font and style for the drop cap.

Advanced tab

You can customize the widget further using the settings available in the Advanced tab. These options provide additional styling and functionality adjustments, allowing you to tailor the widget to better fit your design needs.
