The Rating widget enables you to include these ratings on your site. It visually represents rankings, usually with stars, but you can also use icons from the icon library or uploaded SVG images.
Note:
The Rating widget replaces the Star Rating widget. Websites using the Star Rating widget are unaffected, and existing Star Rating widgets can still be edited. For more details, see the Star Rating widget documentation.
Adding Rating widget
- Open the page where you want to add the widget.
- Find the Toggle widget in the widget panel and drag it onto the canvas.
- Configure the widget settings as described below.
Content tab
- Rating Scale: Set the number of symbols for your rating system. Most rating systems allow a maximum of five or ten, but the Rating widget lets you choose any number of rating icons.
- Rating: Enter the number of symbols you want to represent the rating. For example, enter 3 to display the possibility of a 3 star rating.
- Icon: Icon allows you to switch out the star symbol for another symbol. Click the star image to choose a symbol from the icon library. Click the SVG button to upload an SVG image.
- Alignment: Set the alignment so the rating symbols will appear on the left edge, right edge, or center of the widget.
Style tab
- Size: Use the slider to set the size of the symbols. For more information about units, see Units of Measurement.
- Spacing: Use the slider to set the distance between the symbols.
- Color: Set the color of the symbols when they are filled.
- Unmarked color: Set the color of the symbols when they are not filled.
Advanced tab
You can customize the widget further using the settings available in the Advanced tab. These options provide additional styling and functionality adjustments, allowing you to tailor the widget to better fit your design needs.
