The HTML Widget allows you to incorporate HTML, CSS, shortcodes, and even JavaScript scripts directly into your pages.
Note:
The HTML widget can be used to add code that might contain malware, so only admins have access by default. You can adjust these permissions in the Role Manager, but exercise caution when allowing others to use this feature.
Adding HTML widget
- Navigate to the widget library and choose the HTML widget, marked by the </> icon.
- Drag the widget to your desired location in the page editor, which will be highlighted by a blue line. In the text area of the widget, enter your HTML, scripts, or shortcodes.
The panel window can be expanded to accommodate larger blocks of code for easier viewing.
Advanced tab
You can customize the widget further using the settings available in the Advanced tab. These options provide additional styling and functionality adjustments, allowing you to tailor the widget to better fit your design needs.
