Making and managing websites can become tricky at times, and you may need help from other experts. Granting the 10Web care team temporary access to your dashboard and to your websites is a sure way to get help and solve any issues you may have.
How
- Go to your 10Web dashboard.
- Click your profile photo at the top right corner, then click Security.
Activate the Grant 10Web Temporary Access for 7 Days toggle.
By enabling access to your dashboard and websites, you give our customer care team a 7-day temporary access to your hosted and connected websites. You can disable access at any time by deactivating the toggle from your Account Settings under the Security tab.
If your website is hosted on 10Web, our customer care team will have access to your:
- Hosting Service (FTP, Database Access, etc.)
- 10Web Services
- WordPress Admin Access
If your website is connected to the 10Web dashboard but not hosted by 10Web, our customer care team will have access to your:
- 10Web Services
- WordPress Admin Access
Why
Granting access to the 10Web care team allows for issues to be solved and your websites up and running more quickly. While working on your website, our customer care team may need to take some actions, like temporarily deactivating plugins in order to check for issues. The 10Web care team aims to take minimum action to reach maximum results. Prior to taking actions that may affect the user experience of your website, you will be notified by the customer care team.
Your data will not be deleted. No extra steps will be taken without consultation and approval from you. 10Web takes full liability during the time that our customer care team is working to fix issues on your website.
