You have generated or added a custom SSL certificate for your website and the URL starts with https://; however, you get a message, Your connection is not private, this issue can occur in two cases:
- You have not added an SSL certificate, but because of network cache, your URL starts with https://
- Your attempt to generate an SSL certificate failed.
To resolve the first issue, start by clearing the cache of your network, and try again.
Most of the time, the second case is due to generating an SSL certificate before the domain has been resolved on 10Web hosting. For example, if you have just pointed your domain to 10Web, you will need to allow some time for the changes to propagate.
When the domain has resolved, click on the website with the issue and navigate to the Tools section of Hosting Services and to the SSL Certificate box field.
If an SSL certificate is not present, generate a new SSL certificate. If an SSL certificate is present, remove the old certificate and generate a new one.
