2 Factor authentication
Two factor authentication adds a layer of security to your account. When logging into your account, you will be asked for a second piece of information to confirm that you are the owner of the account. Enable 2FA on your 10Web account for added security.
Granting 10Web access to your account
You may need to grant 10Web temporary access to your 10Web dashboard so that we can help you with complex issues. Access is granted for 7 days, however, we recommend that you disable the access as soon as the issue has been resolved by our team.
Account password recommendations
There are some common rules that we recommend for you to follow concerning your account password.
- Have a strong password
- When you sign up with 10Web, we require you to have a strong password. This means 8 or more characters, upper and lower case letters, and at least 1 number.
- Don’t share your password with others
- There may be instances where you will need to show your clients what you have been working on and you may need to give them some form of access to your account. For those instances we have User & Team Management. Invite your clients, team members, or any other persons who are collaborating on a project. We also recommend that you keep your password in a safe place such as a password manager.
Deletion(termination) of your account does not result in the deletion of your personal data. All personal data is retained unless you request a Personal data deletion.
