A database is an organized set of data of any volume or complexity. In order to manage the data, a management system is needed. 10Web uses the MySql relational database management system or the MySql server. phpMyAdmin is used as the management tool when accessing and configuring the data on the MySql server.
Connecting to the database
Connecting to your database is easy and quick at 10Web.
To connect:
- Log into your 10Web account
- Click on the site you want to connect to
- Under Hosting Services, click on Credentials
- Find the Database Access card

Click the Open MySql button
Clicking the button will open the login page for phpMyAdmin.
- Copy and paste the username and password to phpMyAdmin
- Click Go to log into phpMyAdmin and connect to your database
You can also connect to your database via SSH using Command Prompt, Windows PowerShell, or Terminal.
