Different thumbnail for Vimeo Embed in Photo Gallery Plugin

The thumbnail that Vimeo provides or that the plugin pulls from Vimeo is very low resolution/quality (295x166).

It looks like Photo Gallery plugin is requesting this low resolution as a parameter in the URL fetched from Vimeo. For example:

If changed to https://i.vimeocdn.com/video/1782484343-2ec8db9fafba560f2c7c0eed04c80b4e155db69d74a84deb6caed121f02d631f-d_640?bwg=1705530071721

It now fetches a 640px wide thumbnail.

Another solution would be to be able to assign a different thumbnail (from Media Library) and still have a video play in a lightbox. 

Is any of this currently possible? Thanks!
