'alt text’ and ‘title text’ in the gallery plugin

Provide two different sections to insert ‘alt text’ and ‘title text’.
On each image, the ‘on hover’ is gonna display a date (ex.: 12 03 2012), but unfortunately, that would mean to have only a useless date set as alt text, therefore I would be terribly damaged in terms of SEO.
Is there any way to insert a ‘title’ and then to insert a different ‘alt text’ using your plugin?
