From Front End - Update or Delete a Record in Submissions

From Front End - Update or Delete a Record in Submissions - Currently you are unable to update or delete submissions from the front end. You can view them, but if you want to update them it has to be done on the back end.  One idea I tried was incorporating an html field into the form/record for the purpose of storing a URL that could open the record in the front end with an update form/query . What I discovered was that I could not make an html field a column in the submissions table.  Anyway it would be helpful to be able to update from the front end.
