hide and show condition

Hi 

what I want is simple I want to hide a certane field and that field will be shown only if another field met the value for example lets say I have a dropdown list that has list of names, I want when I select any of them, the hidden field for that name I choose to be shown

 

hope my request is clear

  I'm actually new to Form Maker. Still finding my way and may be I'm just misunderstanding your question, but was wondering ... isn't that exactly the purpose of Conditional Fields ... I'm using fields in that sort of way already with the existing functionality (Conditional Fields). I have like a couple of choices someone can select from and depending whether they chose AA or AB or AC, I continue forward or not, displaying either next question 1 or next question 2 and/or field 1 or field 2 ... in other words, I don't display field 1 or 2 until they have made a selection and I know which one they chose
