Adjustable and storable sorting order when selecting the galleries when inserting them into a WordPress post.

When I insert a gallery into a post in Wordpress, after selecting the display mode (e.g. Masonry), I have to select the appropriate gallery for Select the gallery to display. Since my galleries start with the year in the name, I always have to scroll to the end. An adjustable sorting order in the settings (for example in general )would be very helpful here.
