Exporting fields for use in other forms

In the Forms plugin, is there a way to export certain fields for use in other forms or do they always be recreated in the other forms? Support said that feature is currently not available and to enter it here as a suggestion. Here's an example:

If I'm adding a selection field for shirt colors (for example), it might look like this:

Red
Black
Yellow
Dark Green
Light Green
Dark Blue
Light Blue
Orange
Purple
Brown
White
Tan
Magenta

Let's say I want those same colors available for hats, and pants, and purses, and shoes (each being a different form). I have to rebuild the entire list of colors for each one. It would be SO much easier to simply export that field as "Color Choices" and re-use it in the other forms.
