How to troubleshoot and resolve issues caused by the 10Web Booster

The 10Web Booster is a potent tool that utilizes over 35 optimization techniques such as JS delay, critical CSS, Lazy Load, and more, to improve your website's performance. Depending on the combination of plugins/themes used by your website, the tool may potentially cause issues. Let's look at how to troubleshoot and resolve some common challenges.

Fixing issues with images

Issues with images can often be traced back to the Lazy Load feature of the 10Web Booster. Problems you might encounter include:

• Missing images 
• Disappeared background images
• Incomplete loading images

To resolve these issues:

1. Navigate to the Website Booster> Settings in your 10Web dashboard
2. If you’re having issues with images, locate the Lazy Load for Images 
3. If you’re having issues with background images, locate the Lazy Load for Background Images
4. Disable these options by ticking the checkmark off
5. Click Save to apply the changes
6. Click Clear Cache

To check if images are now working, try visiting the page experiencing image issues in an incognito window. 

Fixing issues with fonts

Font issues can present as:

• Unwanted changes in font size and style
• Icons appearing as squares or going missing
• Unexpected font substitutions
• Distorted or overlapping text

To rectify these problems:

1. Navigate to the Website Booster> Settings
2. Go to Font Optimizer and click on the drop down menu
3. Select each optimization level to determine which one fixes the issue
4. Click Save to implement the changes
5. If the two levels do not fix the issue, choose No Optimization 

If the problem persists, you can exclude the CSS file responsible for your fonts from being optimized. 

Fixing issues with plugins/themes/services

Some issues with plugins/themes might manifest as:

• Missing sections of a plugin or theme
• Plugin or theme malfunctioning
• Incorrect rendering of plugin/theme elements
• Unexpected layout changes
• Slider malfunctioning/missing slider
• Malfunctioning of third-party analytics, SEO, marketing and advertising tools, customer support systems, etc. 
• Malfunctioning/missing other JS libraries

To address these issues:

1. Go to the Website Booster > Settings 
2. Locate One Click Exclusion
3. Click on the drop down menu and exclude theme/plugin/service from JS delay by ticking the checkbox
4. Click Save to apply the changes

If a specific JavaScript file is causing problems, you can exclude the JavaScript file from delay. 

Fixing website scroll issues

Website scrolling issues could include:

• Missing scroll

To resolve these issues:

1. Navigate to Website Booster > Settings > Advanced Settings in your 10Web dashboard.
2. Go to Fix website scroll issue and click the drop down menu
3. Choose each method to determine the one that works
4. Click Save to apply the changes
5. If no method works, choose Disabled

If this doesn't fix the issue, reduce the optimization level from the 10Web Booster's main page or disable Critical CSS.

Fixing website styling issues

Styling issues can take various forms, such as:

• Shifts in the layout
• Misaligned text and images
• Incorrect colors or gradients
• Disappearance of custom styles

To correct these issues:

1. Navigate to Website Booster > Settings under the Website booster
2. Find the Critical CSS option and disable it
3. Click Save to implement the changes

If the issue is not resolved, you can exclude CSS files responsible for your styles.

Remember, changes made to the Critical CSS or JavaScript Delay options will affect your current optimization level. Don't forget to Save your changes when you are finished customizing.
