The 10Web Booster uses four different levels of optimization to automatically optimize your website. The booster works by analyzing your website then distinguishing which level will optimize your website the best without affecting the structure and styles. Your website is then matched to a level then optimized. If the level of optimization does not work for your website, a different level is chosen until the ultimate match is found.
For more information about the 10Web Website Booster and how it works to optimize websites of any complexity, please check out Intro to the 10Web Website Booster.
If none of the optimization levels work or you are not satisfied with the results of your PageSpeed score or your website styles/performance have been negatively affected, please contact us via live chat.
Accessing the optimization levels
To access the 10Web Booster Optimization levels:
- Log in to your 10Web account
- Click on the website where you want to make the change
- Under Website Booster, click on Frontend
- In the General tab, hover over the level you want
- Click Apply
The standard level combines and compresses CSS and JS files, making them lighter. In this level, a select group of JS files are set to be delayed and will load upon interaction. Website images are converted and served as webP images which are smaller image files without loss of image quality. And lastly, lazy loading is activated for images, videos, and iframes, postponing the loading of non essential media.
The balanced level contains all of the optimization options of the Standard level plus critical CSS generation. This allows for critical CSS, or the visible part of the page that is going to be served first, to load first. Any other CSS styles load after the completion of the critical CSS.
The strong level has all the optimization options of the Standard level plus delay of all Java Script, meaning that all JS will load upon interaction.
The extreme level of optimization uses all three levels, Standard plus Critical CSS and Delay JS to optimize your website.
