If your website has disappeared from the 10Web dashboard, no worries—there are a couple of common reasons this happens. This guide explains the possible causes and what you can do to restore access.
Two main cases may apply:
- You upgraded to a paid plan and your demo site disappeared.
- Your subscription was canceled or deactivated, causing your hosting to expire.
Case 1: Upgraded to a paid plan and demo site disappeared
When you sign up for a free plan, the system gives you a chance to generate a website. If you want to build a new site from scratch, go ahead with this flow.
But if you'd prefer to continue with the demo site you tested earlier, we can restore it for you.
How to restore your demo website:
- Contact 10Web support via live chat or email.
- Share your account email and mention that you'd like your original demo site restored after upgrading.
- Let the support team know you'd like to restore your demo site after upgrading.
- We’ll restore your demo site to your dashboard.
Important:
The demo website can be restored within 14 days of when you first signed up and created it.
Case 2: Subscription was canceled or expired
Your website may be unavailable if your subscription was canceled or it expired, either due to multiple failed payment attempts or manual cancellation. In both cases, your hosting expires, and your website becomes inaccessible.
Important:
Website backups are kept for 3 months for trial subscriptions and 6 months for paid plans.
How to reactivate your website:
- Go to your 10Web Subscription Plan page.
- Renew your subscription by completing the required payment.
- Contact support and request restoration of your website.
Note:
Your website won’t be accessible again until your subscription is renewed. Once done, support can restore your site.
