Products and services are the lifeblood of any business, whether online or offline. With the eCommerce functionalities of the 10Web Dashboard, online business owners can manage their product catalog efficiently and with ease.
This article, part of the Ecommerce Menu series, will guide you through the Products Tab in your 10Web dashboard, helping you organize, edit, and optimize your store’s products.

Navigating the Products tab
To access the Products tab:
- Log into your 10Web Dashboard.
- Click the Manage button under the eCommerce site you want to manage.
- Open the Ecommerce tab to display all eCommerce menu options.
- Click on the Products tab.
Products tab overview
At the top of the Products tab, you will find:
- A status filter dropdown to sort products by their availability.
- A search field to find products by name.
The Products tab consists of several key columns:
- Image: Displays the product's main image.
- Product: Click on the product name to enter Editing Mode for that product.
- Inventory: Shows the total number of items left in stock.
- Category: Displays the product’s assigned category.
- Price: Shows the current price of the product.
- Status: Click on the dropdown to change the product status to Active or Draft.
- View product: Click the eye icon to preview the product in the front-end.
- Three-dot menu: Allows you to duplicate or delete a product.
Adding and editing products
- To add a new product, click the Add Product button in the top-right corner of the menu.
- To edit an existing product, click on its name in the Product column.
Both actions will redirect you to the individual product settings, where you can customize the product further.
Product description
Note:
The exact positioning of descriptions on the front end depends on how you design the Single Product Global Template.
The following applies to the standard AI Builder template:
- Title: The main product title.
- Short description: Appears next to the product.
- Long description: Appears below the product.
Right-hand menu
- Add Category: Select an existing category or create a new one.
- Subcategory (optional): Assign a subcategory.
- Collection: Add the product to a collection.
- Product Page Template: Assign or modify the pre-designed layout for the product page.
Product images
- Upload product images to the media list and assign them to variations.
- Select a main image and additional images.
Pricing
- Price: Set the standard price.
- Sale price: Set a discounted price.
Note:
If the product has variations, additional pricing can be added below the base price.
Inventory

Stock status:
In stock
Out of stock
On backorder: Allows orders for temporarily unavailable products. - Track stock quantity for this product: Enables manual or automatic stock tracking.
Product options
You can create different options and variations of a product (e.g., different storage capacities for gadgets, shoe sizes, or fabric textures).
- Click Add Product Option.
- In the ensuing window, enter an Option Name and Values.
- Click Add once you’ve input the options.
Once you have added at least one option, the section will change to include the newly created options, as well as product variations based on the options. You can then edit each variation and set the price for it.
Linked products
- Upsells: Select products to promote on the single product page.
- Cross-sells: Select products to recommend when this product is in the cart.
Product tax
Select a tax class from the dropdown:
- Standard
- Reduced rate
- Zero rate
Note:
To configure tax settings, go to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax, then select the appropriate tax class subtab (e.g., Standard rates, Reduced rates, etc.).
Shipping information
- Shipping Class: Group products by type (e.g., bulky items, small items).
Note:
To create or edit shipping classes, go to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Classes.
- Weight, Length, Width, Height: These units are based on your WooCommerce store settings.
Note:
To modify measurement settings, go to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Products > General.
Final steps
Once you have finished editing the product settings, go to the top-right corner of the page:
- Discard: Revert all changes.
- Save: Apply and save changes.
- Preview (Eye icon): See how your modifications look on the front-end template.
With the Products Tab, you can efficiently manage your product catalog, update inventory, and optimize your store for better performance.
