Besides the general display settings we discussed here, each display option of WordPress Form Maker plugin has its unique settings. Let’s discuss them in this subsection of Form Maker user guide.
Embedded
Embedded display type of Form Maker plugin generates a shortcode of your form. An example of this shortcode is the following:
[Form id="8"]
It can be added to the content of any WordPress page or post. After you select Embedded from Display Options, you will be able to view and copy this shortcode.
Navigate to Pages > Add New from WordPress dashboard menu and add the shortcode into the post content. You can also publish embedded forms by pressing Add Form button. Choose your form using Select a Form dropdown, then click Insert.
Write a Title for your page/post, provide content if necessary, then click Publish. Press View Page to see the published form on the front-end of your site.
Pop-up
This display type lets you have your form appearing as a popup box. It shows after the specified pages are fully loaded.
Animation Effect. Form Maker plugin provides a list of effects, which you can apply to your form.
Loading Delay. This setting lets you set a delay time (seconds) before the form popup appears after the page is fully loaded. Set 0 for no delay.
Top-bar
Top-bar display option lets you show your form to users at the top or the bottom of your website. Use the following settings to configure your top-bar form:
Position. This option allows you to choose the placement of your form, Top or Bottom.
Remain at top when scrolling. Enable this setting, in case you wish to make the form sticky to the page. It will have fixed positioning, therefore will remain visible when users scroll the page.
Allow Closing the bar. Activate this option in case you need users to be able to close the form container by clicking X button.
Scroll-box
Scroll-box display type provided by Form Maker adds your form to container box, which loads when users scroll the page.
Position. Place your form on the Left or Right side of your website content using this setting.
Loading Delay. This setting lets you set a delay time (seconds) before the form popup appears after the page is fully loaded. Set 0 for no delay.
Trigger Point. Scrollbox form can be triggered to appear at a certain point of the page where it is published. Use this option to set the percentage of the page height, where you need the form to become visible.
Allow Closing the bar. Activate this option in case you need users to be able to close the scrollbox form by clicking X button.
Allow Minimize. You can allow users to minimize the scrollbox form by enabling this setting. Use Minimize Text option to set a custom message to show instead of the form after it’s minimized.
Auto Hide. In case this option is enabled, the form will be hidden when users scroll back to the top of the page.
