Restore points
All websites hosted at 10Web are automatically backed up every 24 hours. Each website has a limit of up to 10 automatic backups or Restore Points or up to 20GB of restore points.
Backup service
Backup service is an additional service you can enable for automatically backing up your websites at any time.
How to restore your website from Restore Points
To restore your website to a specific point:
- Log into your 10Web account
- Click on the website you want to restore
- Under Hosting Services, click on Restore Points
- From the list, find the specific point in time to which you would like to restore
- Click Restore
Important:
By restoring your website, the data of your current website will be replaced with the data your website had at the specific point you want to restore your website to.
How to restore your website from Backup service
The Backup service allows you to automatically backup your websites using a time interval that is best for the type of website you have. You can restore your website to any backed up point in the Backup service.
Note:
Before being able to restore your website from the Backup service, you must have enabled the backup service and have backups to restore to.
To restore your website to a specific point from the 10Web Backup Service:
- Log into your 10Web account
- Click on the website you want to restore
- To the left of your dashboard, click on Backups
- Choose the date you want to restore to from the calendar
- Choose the specific backup you want to restore to from the list of backups on that day
- Click Restore
- Choose to restore the full website, only files, or only database
- Click Restore to restore to that specific point
