Number of monthly visits is calculated as the number of unique IP addresses shown in Nginx logs that visit your website each day.
Generally, it counts as one visitor when a user:
- Reaches your website and loads a page
- Visits multiple pages
- Uses more than one browser to view pages on your website
- Shares an internet connection with other website visitors
If a single visitor loads your website from different locations during the same day, it may count as more than one visit. For example, a website visitor accesses the website from work and home. In this case, the visitor would count as two visitors because their IP address changed.
