Enabling Cloudflare CDN
There are two ways to enable the Cloudware Enterprise CDN depending on how your primary domain is pointed. Choose the one pertaining to your website.
Primary domain pointed with nameservers
Note:
Please make sure your domain is pointed to 10Web and has been set as the primary domain before enabling Cloudflare CDN for websites hosted on 10Web using 10Web nameservers.
To enable cloudflare:
- Log in to your 10Web account
- Click on the website where you want to enable the CDN
- Under Website Booster, click on Cloudflare CDN
In the Cloudflare CDN box, you will see the Enable button. In front of the button, you will see the primary domain name, on which the CDN will be enabled. If your website is not pointed or made primary, you will be prompted to do so.
- Click Enable to start Cloudflare integration
You will see a pop up informing you that the Cloudflare integration is in progress.
- Click Got it
Note:
Because your primary domain is hosted on 10Web using the 10Web nameservers, the integration will happen automatically, without you entering DNS records.
You will be redirected to the Overview page of the Cloudflare CDN. At the top right of the page, you will see a pending status for your DNS records. Click on the refresh button to reload the page and find out if your DNS records have been resolved. Once the DNS records have been resolved, you will see an active status.
Important:
Cloudflare integration works for primary domains only. If your primary domain has directories; for example, yourprimarydomain.com/books, the CDN will apply to them as well. If your primary domain has subdomains; for example, books.yourprimarydomain.com, that are configured to redirect using CNAME records, then the CDN will apply to them also.
Primary domain pointed with A record
To enable Cloudflare for a website hosted on 10Web and pointed with an A record:
- Log in to your 10Web account
- Click on the website where you want to enable the CDN
- Under Website Booster, click on Cloudflare CDN In the Cloudflare CDN box, you will see the Enable button. If your website is not pointed or made primary, you will be prompted to do so.

- A box with your IP address will open
Note:
Please check that the IP address is the primary IP for your domain. In the case that it isn’t, enter your primary IP.
- Click Proceed to start the integration
You will be redirected to verify and point your website to Cloudflare.
- Log in to your domain provider and navigate to the DNS management section
- If you have any _acme-challenge TXT records, remove them
- Copy and paste the provided DNS records where your nameservers are pointed and click Verify Domain
Note:
Domain verification may take a few moments. If your domain is not verified right away, please wait a few minutes and try again.
Once your domain is verified, point your domain to Cloudflare using the provided A records.
- Copy and paste the provided A records where your nameservers are pointed and save
- Delete previously existing A and CNAME records of the main domain
- Click Proceed
At the top right of the page, you will see a pending status for your DNS records. Click on the refresh button to reload the page and find out if your DNS records have been resolved. Once the DNS records have been resolved, your status will change to Active.
