100% agree. I'm in the process of moving over to 10Web and since there's no e-mail hosting if I have to pay for GSuite, any savings is 100% gone. Looking at Zoho but not happy about them.

The alternative that 10Web recommends is Yandex which is a Russian company which I'm not comfortable with at all.

But if someone is looking here's the page: https://help.10web.io/hc/en-us/articles/360031239511-How-to-create-a-free-email-address-with-my-domain

I use 1&1 Ionos for their domain and email hosting. $2 a month for 25 email addresses and a free domain

It's simply too much of a hassle to set up emails with a different host. I am cancelling my accounts with 10web because of the lack of email hosting. Wish they'd offer it- I'd be willing to pay another dollar or two a month if they would offer it as an option.

So what I do is I basically use the Mail Basic Package from 1&1 IONOS. It's $2 a month for 25 mailboxes and a free domain. So if you purchased the domain and all that, you can basically transfer it over to 1&1 IONOS and then connect it using the custom DNS provided by 10Web.

That way I get great WordPress hosting and a normal email box.

This is working out for me so far.

Thanks -- 1&1 IONOS checks out as a very reliable alternative. BUT: can it integrate with my own IMAP email client (e.g. Apple Mail)? It's useless if I can only access it via webmail.

Again, as others have asked- why can't you add email hosting to 10WEB??

I believe that 1&1 IONOS does integrate with Apple Mail.

As far as to why they can't provide email hosting. That would require an SMTP server, which I don't think they have or offer (atm). They may become a full package later on.

They do use GCP which provides super-fast hosting though

    Thanks Narek!

If 10WEB really want to expand their client base, they NEED to offer email hosting.

As a temporary measure, yes you're quite right-  you can IMAP it to Apple mail HERE.

    Thanks again Narek :)

Thanks for the email information. When I signed up for Hosting I assumed email was included. I think that  EMAIL HOSTING NOT INCLUDED should be in CAPS and or a legit solution provided.  Russian YANDEX services promoted makes the whole deal feel a little sketchy

1 company to deal with email and hosting, Is great! Have two companies mean the blame will be pasted from one to another when there is a problem. This make the 10web hosting less valuable to the point of almost being useless.

I would rather use one company for everything. Then breaking it up to several 1 for hosting, 1 for email, 1 for DNS, etc.

I like having my web and email hosting it seperate places.  It means email server load is elsewhere and should you decide to move your hosting, you can easily move either web or email first, then the other, or only one easily.  I've just setup Yandex Mail and hoping for the best but understand that, depending on your industry, being in Russia may not be the best.

I do agree though, 10Web offering email servers on seperate IP's / servers would be great and simplify admin.
