Before you begin
To manage DNS records in the 10Web dashboard, your domain should be pointed to 10Web with nameservers.
Note:
As soon as a domain is added, 10Web automatically creates an A and CNAME record for the domain.
Accessing DNS records
- Log into your 10Web account
- Click on the website that you want to manage
- Click on Domains
- Click on Manage DNS for the domain you want to manage
At the top of the Manage DNS page you will see your Nameservers.
Adding DNS records
From the Manage DNS page of the 10Web dashboard:
- Click on Add A DNS Record
- Under Type choose the record type
- Fill in the required information
- Click Add DNS Record
Important:
Different record types will require different input of information. For more on this, please take a look at DNS record types.
Quick tips:
We have made it easy to set up business emails for Zoho and G Suite. Just click on the corresponding button to quickly add the MX records, click Add Record and you are done!
Editing/deleting DNS records
From the Manage DNS page of the 10Web dashboard:
- Choose the record you want to edit
- Click on the edit icon on the right of the record
- Edit the information as needed
- Click Save
To delete a record:
- Choose the record you want to delete
- Click on the 3 dots located to the right of each record
- Click on Remove record
Note:
It may take some time for the added/edited DNS records to resolve. To see if your records have resolved, you can use third party DNS checkers.
